Yu has announced that the company’s YuFit fitness band that was announced back in May will finally will go on sale July 29th.
Yu has launched the YuFit fitness band in India. It is priced at Rs 999 and will be available next month, however the registrations for updates are open on the company website. The fitness band is positioned to be the first calorie counter for Indian foods and keeps a tab on weight and fitness tracking.
The fitness band is integrated with HealthifyMe app, a company that Micromax invested in recently, to give you a comprehensive data reading of your fitness, and also lets you know your entire calorie intake for the day, while giving you recommendations on-the-go. It tracks steps, sleep pattern, calories burnt and distance walked. A big highlight is that it offers coaches that guide users to lead a healthier lifestyle.
It is powered by healthifyme that provides Fitness trainers, Nutritionists and Dietitians through specific packages designed for YuFit. The company has not revealed any details about the packages yet.
