Samsung Earlier this morning unveiled it’s Smartwatches, Samsung Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo both are Tizen Based. Samsung These days is being releasing all Neo devices of their premium segment and even with it’s Samsung Gear 2 it unveiled it’s Neo version which might be cheaper.

Samsung Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo both run on Tizen Based OS and has a 1GHz Dual Core processor coupled with 512MB of Ram, 1.63 inch (320 x 320) AMOLED Display. IP67 certification for dust and water resistance. It is just 68gms in weight.

The main difference between the Galaxy Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo is that Gear 2 has a 2MP camera camera which has the capability of auto focus and recording 720p video.

The Position of the Camera on Gear 2 is changed from the strap to the mainbody.

The smartwatches will have S voice, heart rate monitor and pedometer for health related apps.

Samsung Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo will have IR-LED Sensor, which will work as a Remote Controller of your Set Top Box, this sensor were previously seen on Galaxy S4 and Note 3 and now it makes Debut in Smartwatches.

Samsung Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo will be benifited with the Tizen based ecosystem as many apps like CNN, BMW, Conde Nast, Expedia, eBay, Evernote, Feedly, ARMIN, Glympse, Banjo, GM, iControl and Line will be coming soon.

Samsung has not said about Batery Life that it has a300mAh battery which should last about 2-3 days in single charge.

Also Samsung Galaxy Gear 2 will come in Charcoal Black, Wild Orange and Gold Brown. Samsung Gear 2 Neo will come in Charcoal Black, Mocha Greay and Wild Orange.
