Lenovo has been in the news for some time now for it’s Lenovo K4 in Indian markets. But Apart from this Lenovo is gearing towards launching a new flagship in Indian markets. The device named Vibe X3 which was earlier showcased in CES 2016 will be launched on 27th January 2016.
Lenovo Vibe X3 Comes with a 5.5 inch Full HD screen protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 which Lenovo claims can reproduce 100% color gamut.Above it is a 8 MP camera for your selfie needs. The front facing speaker grill is a welcomed addition and it will be interesting to see how they sound.
Behind is a 21MP Rear shooter capable of shooting 4K video. Below it is a fingerprint scanner. The usual stuff.
Under the hood is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 with 6 cores and Adreno 418 GPU combo. This is supported with 3GB of RAM.All this is powered by a massive 3500 mAh battery. There supposedly are 32 as well as 64 GB variants both having MicroSD card ability.
In term of connectivity is the usual Dual Sim LTE , WiFi , GPS , NFC and Radio. In terms of IO is a micro USB port, No USB type C yet. Fast charging is supported with company claiming 60% charge in 30 minutes.
In terms of software the now familiar Vibe UI will be offered to the customers. Though it is known that users will have an option to switch to Stock Launcher with an app drawer which the Vibe UI lacks.
The price though not revealed yet, one would expect it to be in the sub 25K category along with the Oneplus Two and YU Yutopia.
