Lenovo K5 Note Launched In China Today

The pace at which tech is evolving is mind blowing. Just recently Lenovo launched it’s K4 Note and they are already back with it’s successor the Lenovo K5 Note. The new Lenovo K5 note has 5.5 inch screen similar to k4 Note but is powered by the new MediaTek Helio P10 processor along with substantially faster Mali-T860 MP2 graphics . This Soc is definitely faster than the MediaTek MT6753 .

Lenovo K5 Note Specifications

The new Lenovo K5 Note has a solid all metal build  with a fingerprint scanner just below the Rear camera. Also the new Category 6 LTE modem would mean faster download speed capabilities. The dimensions of the phone are 152 x 75.7 x 8.49 mm.

The most surprising decision of all is a downgrade to 2GB RAM from 3GB in the K4 Note. Maybe Lenovo decided that 2GB was just enough for everyone even in 2016. Also the internal memory is fixed at 16 GB with MicroSD expansion capabilities.. The phone will be powered by a 3500 mAh battery capable of fast charging.

The camera package at the back is the same that of the K4 Note i.e. a 13 MP rear shooter but the front camera has been bumped up to 8 MP for self portraits. The software will be based on Android 5.1.The speakers are armed with Dolby ATMOS for better sound.

Connectivity includes Dual Sim LTE. WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0. Though ,it  looks like it’s missing NFC.

Lenovo K5 Note is been launched in China as of now for 1099 Yuan(Rs. 11,325 approx.). Launch dates for other markets haven’t been disclosed yet. here is the listing.
